On June 24, we are heading back down to the Ronceverte Island Park to celebrate the start of Holler with Pride’s weekend. Before the march, let’s take a moment to gather at the amphitheater for a night of fun. Dance, eat, and celebrate Pride! Entertainment and food details will be coming out soon.

Drag queen Jessica Von Karmichael is coming down to Love Child in downtown Lewisburg and she is bringing stories to the children! Pride Story Hour is going two readings at the local toy store on June 23. Bring the little ones so they can spend a summer afternoon listening along.

Join us at the Briergarten in downtown Lewisburg to watch the LGBTQIA+ classic film “But I’m A Cheerleader.” If you need an introduction to queer cinema, this is a great first step. If you are well-versed in queer cinema, you’re welcome. Let’s hang out and enjoy the camp that only “But I’m A Cheerleader” can deliver.

What better way to spend the first day of summer than having a picnic and a swim at the Ronceverte Island Park? Pack your favorite lunch and come on down to the Ronceverte Island Park Amphitheater and let’s share a meal outdoors and cool off in the river as we celebrate the first day of summer Pride style!

Start your week of Holler with Pride 2022 with a good old fashion Trivia Night hosted by our friends at Hill & Holler. GVP Board Member and Community Members will be there to challenge your knowledge about LGBTQIA+ topics. Are you ready for a night of fun with the community?

Join us and Trillium Performing Arts Collective for an arts showcase bringing LGBTQIA+ art from the Greenbrier Valley to Lewisburg. Come prepared to see an eclectic mix of art with that unique Appalachian and queer fusion. You know that there is going to be a drag show so come ready to celebrate the queens as they rock the stage.
